Where the 20 year old power supplies are very inefficient and get very hot, this power supply comes with an external 12V transformer for a much cooler and thus longer lasting Playstation.
This power supply has to be installed by yourself, the manual and external transformer are included.
Can be installed without soldering, but some experience in working with computer/console hardware is required
